The metro line connecting Barajas airport with the center of Madrid is line 8 (pink) from the airport to the terminus Nuevos Ministerios with runs from 6 am to 2 am. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.

The ticket to and from the airport is the “Billete Sencillo + Superclement Aeropuerto” that can be purchased directly from the machines at the airport. For those who want to travel in comfort it is possibile to get a private taxi service as taxi-airports-transfer.com, not so expensive and very fast.

Four terminals of Barajas airport are connected 24 hours a day with the free bus service for non-passengers (no boarding pass is required) and with a bus for travelers with a boarding pass to move from one terminal to the other. Decorated windows, restaurants and ATMs make the airport the perfect place for a snack and a little shopping before the flight. Terminals 1, 2 and 4 have luggage storage.
