Waterfalls are one of the most incredible parts of the natural beauty and make for some amazing sights. Exploring waterfalls is a great way to enjoy nature and get close to it. It is a joy to listen to the sound of gushing waters and jump into the deep pool of blue water and listening to the jungle sounds. Asia countries boast of a wide range of waterfalls. Blessed with brilliant landscapes and verdant forests, those sparkling rivers, and majestic mountains create breathtaking waterfalls. Some of those waterfalls are genuinely the most beautiful sights, and a must visit.

  • Mimbalot Falls -Philippines
    The Mimbalot Falls one of many beautiful waterfalls in the Philippines. Located within the Iligan Paradise Resort in Iligan City, the waterfalls are magnificent for adventure tourists. It is indeed incredible to look at those strong currents of falling and running water. The large rock divides the water in rivulets that cascades into a series of drops. Catch a perfect view of these waterfalls as you zip line above them.
  • Bua Tong Falls – Thailand
    Located outside the city of Chiang Mai, the Bua Tong Falls are also known as the Sticky Waterfall. The waterfalls are indeed remarkable as one can actually climb up the falls. It is slightly sticky due to the limestone deposits over the water. Moss at the top makes the falls more slick and dangerous. One should always use ropes when scrambling up the rocks as the water cascades down. It is indeed a unique experience to climb up a waterfall.
  • Jog Falls – India
    Jog Falls is the largest and tallest of India’s waterfalls. There is indeed something spectacular about these waterfalls that draws tourists from within India as well as from all across the world. The falls are made of a plunging group of four waterfalls named Raja, Roar, Rocket, and Rani. The waterfalls achieve its full splendor during monsoons and offer an incredible sight of surging water thundering down a massive height.
  • Alalum Falls – Philippines
    Majestic is the only way, to sum up, the beauty of Alalum Falls. At about 150 feet, the waterfall will simple you standing in awe and amazement. It is definitely worth it to make a visit to the Alalum Falls. The towering single layer cascade makes a deep circular catch basin and is an iconic tourist destination. The name Alalum comes from the Lumad-Binukid word “madalum” which means deep.
  • Huangguoshu Falls – China
    At 243 feet, Huangguoshu Falls are the highest waterfalls in East Asia. It is highly referenced in the classic Chinese literature, Journey to the West. The visitors can feel the rush of standing in Water Curtain Cave as they step behind the curtain. One can explore the surrounding areas as there are plenty of hiking trails around the waterfall.
  • Erawan Falls – Thailand
    Erawan Falls National Park is a popular tourist destination in Thailand. The iconic waterfall is just about 3.5 hours from Bangkok. The seven-tiered waterfall runs through the jungle of the Erawan Falls National Park. At the bottom, one can enjoy picnics or simply relax.
  • Jembong Waterfall – Indonesia
    Located in Ambengan village, in Northern Bali, the gently flowing cascade of the Jembong Waterfall is surrounded by pristine vegetation. The waterfalls flow gently on sloping terrain and create a feeling of serenity and solitude. One can enjoy a pleasant hike to reach this waterfall. It is a perfect getaway as it makes a salient spot for city dwellers.
  • Kawasan Falls – Cebu, Philippines
    Look for tours from Cebu to Kawasan Falls, which are one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines. Swim and relax in the turquoise blue waters. Those who are a bit more adventurous can go for a ride under the waterfall on a bamboo raft. Enjoy the feel and force of the pouring water on your body. Kawasan Falls is indeed breathtaking, and the scenery around is picture perfect.
  • Thi Lo Su Waterfall – Thailand
    The multi-tiered waterfall is the largest waterfall in Thailand’. There are a certain grace and character about the amazing multi-segmented waterfall. The visitors can swim beneath its tiers and appreciate the overall greenery around. The waterfalls seem unspoiled and untouched because of its remote location and thugs carries a picturesque feel.
