I created a short video of our trip through Uruguay. Nothing special, just spent a few hours on it but I think it came out pretty well.

An indie-film set to be released on February 14th. The trailer doesn’t tell you much but you definitely get the idea. It’s got love, lust, and travel. The colors and sceneries shown in the trailer are beautiful. I’m looking forward to checking this out.

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films…..
Here’s a beautiful video that makes me miss Southeast Asia. Grewe captures small glimpses of Southeast Asia by recording the people and historical sights of each country. I especially liked the clips of the people doing their everyday activities.
I originally found this on Shuttersalt and was completely amazed when I saw this video. The video was made by TSOPhotography. Over on the Vimeo page itself, Terje Sorgjerd explains how it was done. It’s pretty impressive and especially at 32 seconds. Have you been to El Teide in Spain?
Here’s a bit of entertainment for you. I’ve learned that being behind a camera takes a whole lot of practice, patience, and confidence. I completely lost it while I trying to create the introduction for Art of Travel Blogging. A few weeks later, I tried again at another location in China which came out much better. Here’s a tip for anyone recording themselves on camera – keep doing it. You’ll get better at it eventually and it’ll start to become more natural.
I love Melbourne. In fact, so much that it’s my favorite city in Australia. It’s got a great vibe to it and the music scene is very much alive.
Here’s a video by Adrienne of ShenVenture featuring a glimpse of the city of Melbourne and Phillip Island.
This is her first travel video and for her first one, I think she’s on the right track. It was filmed with a DSLR camera and the music was selected after the community Art of Travel Blogging suggested a few sites to get royalty free music for her videos.
Guerilla Films is planning a TV series of Mark Smith’s website The Man in Seat 61. A taster pilot episode can be seen below. Mark helps actor Kenneth Cranham travel from Trafalgar Square to Waterloo battlefield on the first leg of an overland journey to St Petersburg, on the trail of Napoleon.
I’m a big fan of The Man in Seat 61 website. I’ve used it extensively in my travels and especially in China. It’s a fantastic resource for train travel around the world.
