Hanging out with locals is what most backpackers dream for and every now and then, we get the real local feel of the culture through the people. I’ve had a similar experience (without as much alcohol though) in Bangkok, Thailand as well. This video brought back a memory of when I randomly met a Thai man on a train going back to Bangkok and then suddenly were drinking beers and I was invited to his house and was given a private tour by him. A family I’ll never forget.
