We’re excited about our launch of Eat The World for the iPhone and iTouches and we want to celebrate the launch with you.
A huge part of discovering a countries culture is their food. We hated every time we missed eating a unique dish only to hear about it later. That’s why we made an app to help travelers like you discover local dishes so this doesn’t happen. For me, food is one of the most memorable parts of the places I go to. I use this app myself because it even has the translations of all the dishes so it’s so much easier to order at the restaurants as I travel.
On Monday, June 4th 2012 at 3pm EST, we’re hosting a Twitter chat called #EatTheWorld.
We’ll be discussing local dishes from around the world and our love to discovering new foods. Each question will be related to the experiences we’ve all had to build a conversation and have a good time meeting others with a similiar passion to food as us on Twitter.
How it works:
There will be a a new question every 10 minutes announced by the hosts. Each question will be related to food from around the world.
The questions will have the following format: Q1: What’s your favorite ….? #EatTheWorld
Try to answer with the following format: A1: I love ….? #EatTheWorld
It’s especially important that you add #EatTheWorld at the end of your tweets so that others following the hashtag can see your tweet and engage with you.
The questions are a collaboration from all the hosts. We’ll all be tweeting the questions at the same exact time so you’ll be able to follow along easily.
