Backpacking is cutting travel costs, but not cutting the exciting elements of adventure. Travel in style; to distinctive places and to have fun doing so!

I agree. Worry is a useless emotion when traveling. We were in Asia during the bird flu outbreak. We never thought a thing of it until we received emails from home telling us how worried everyone was. Suddenly we thought, Uh oh, maybe we should be worried about this. Same with in Sudan, everyone was worried about us, but we had an amazing time and the people were so friendly. If we worried all of the time, we never would have gone in the first place.
Thanks, Deb and Dave
