I love inspirational quotes. I’m frequently posting quotes I’m inspired by on Art of Backpacking’s Facebook Page that may relate to travelers. These signs were spotted in Chiang Mai, Thailand. There were plenty of these signs at this particular park but I took shots of my favorite ones.

Eat to live but live to eat.

Eat to live but live to eat.

Where in Chiang Mai was this? I must've missed this park.

I was trying to find the name of the park but to no luck :( . I remember it being in the very center of town though.

Such great advice – will file these away for future reference. :)

Very nice, Mike! I saw the “anxiety shortens life” once in a travel blogger profile page, but the rest are new photos for me.

GREAT photos! I might be going to Thailand with my aunt in the near future! If I get that chance, I definitely will try to hit up this park. If you figure out the name of it, please do share! :)

I'll update this as soon as I figure out where it was! Thailand is beautiful :)

Far more sensible Thai proverbs than those at the wacky “World War II Museum” in Kanchanaburi! One that particularly sticks out in my mind (which was accompanied by a painting illustrating it) was the ever so eloquent, “Eat in house, shit on roof.”

haha I like that “Eat in house, shit on roof.”

The first one is actually translated wrong. In Thai it says “Eat to live, but don’t live to eat.” I may like it better the way they have it though :)
